A couple of months again we mentioned that Samsung might quickly unveil its first monitor that includes a built-in wireless charger, the corporate did unveil one again then, it claims that the 23.6-inch SE370 is the arena’s first monitor to return with an built-in wireless charging function for suitable cellular units. After appearing it off a few months again Samsung has now began taking pre-orders for this monitor with shipments beginning within the close to long run.

Now just in case you’re learning about the Samsung SE370 monitor for the first time, this is a 23.6-inch monitor with a PLS display. It has a brightness of 250cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, a resolution of 1920×1080, a response time of 4ms, and will come with 1 HDMI 1.4 port, 1 DP 1.2 port, and 1 D-Sub port.

The circular wireless charging area is integrated in the monitor’s stand, users just have to place the mobile device in that area to start charging, status is confirmed by a LED light. Obviously it’s of no use to someone who doesn’t have a smartphone that supports wireless charging, like smartphones from a certain company named after a fruit, but then again they’re not going to be the ones buying the SE370.

The second feature this Samsung monitor has would appeal more to gamers. That's the inclusion of AMD's FreeSync technology. In a nutshell, this technology syncs the refresh rate of the monitor and the output being churned out by the PC. Say good bye to tearing and visual lag. At least, that's the promise. Needless to say, you'll need an AMD graphics card in your desktop for FreeSync to work its magic.

Clearly, Samsung is still ramping up production very slowly. Thankfully, the price isn’t ridiculous: $250 isn’t cheap for a 23.6-inch monitor nowadays, but it’s certainly not absurd either.

If you’re in the U.S., you can preorder the 23.6-inch monitor from Newegg, which will start shipping the product on November 13, 2015.
